Tuesday, Sept. 29
12:30 p.m.
A student called the Northeastern Division of Public Safety (NUPD) to report her Husky card missing. She said she had last seen it at 10 p.m. the previous night when her roommate had guests visiting. After her roommate moved out due to ongoing roommate issues, she reported finding the card.

4 p.m.
A student reported that on Sept. 15 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. his bicycle was stolen from Krentzman Quad where it had been locked with a thin cable.

5:15 p.m.
A student who works part-time at the child care center at White Hall reported her wallet was missing when she got out of work. The caller said she had hung the wallet on a rack where other employees leave their belongings. No other employees recalled seeing the wallet as they left work.

Wednesday, Sept. 30
2 a.m.
An NUPD officer patrolling Huntington Avenue saw a man acting suspiciously around a bicycle locked in front of 319 Huntington Ave. As the officer approached, he saw the man was trying to cut the lock. The Boston Police Department (BPD) was called and they arrested a 24-year-old man with no connection to Northeastern. BPD could not identify the man last night. About half and hour later the same NUPD officer encountered another man attempting to steal the same bicycle. Henry Cobb, 56, of Medford, was arrested for attempted larceny, possession of burglary tools and two outstanding warrants. NUPD took the bicycle for safekeeping and is waiting for the owner to claim it.

12 p.m.
A student reported that on Sept. 23 she left her wallet unattended on the first floor of Snell Library for 10 minutes and was missing when she returned. The wallet contained $15, credit cards and the caller’s license.


4:30 p.m.
A man reported he had locked his bike outside the Marino Center at 3 p.m. and when he returned at 4 p.m. found the only the front tire locked to the rack with his U-lock.

Thursday, Oct. 1
2:45 p.m.
A man called NUPD to report Wednesday at 10 p.m., he put his laundry in two dryers on the seventh floor of West Village C, and upon returning Thursday at 2 p.m. all of his clothes were gone.

3:45 p.m.
An 18-year-old male reported an envelope that contained a birthday card was already opened when he checked his mailbox. The card, which contained $25 when mailed, had no money in it when the caller got it.

5:30 p.m.
A law student reported four books and her lock were missing from her locked locker in the law school.

9 p.m.
A female reported that while walking through Krentzman Quad just before 8 p.m., a group of at least four teens passed her. One teen reached at her in an attempt to grab her cell phone, laughed and ran off.

A male called NUPD to report that while walking on Forsyth Street a group of five teens stopped him to ask the time and then one teen grabbed him, laughed and ran away.

A Resident Assistant (RA) in West Village B reported the odor of marijuana coming from an apartment. NUPD responded and followed the scent to an apartment where officers encountered the two 20-year-old residents and two visitors with several pipes and three replica handguns. One resident confessed that he owned two of the three air-powered bee bee guns and said he used them to shoot birds around campus. Both students will be reported to the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (OSCCR).

Friday, Oct. 2
1 a.m.
A proctor called NUPD from International Village to report an intoxicated female student in the lobby. When officers responded, the female was outside barefoot. She put her cigarette lighter up to her ear as though it were a cell phone, burning her hair. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation of her intoxication and will be reported to OSCCR.

1 a.m.
A student called from West Village E to report her roommate had come back intoxicated and screaming. NUPD responded and upon questioning the female admitted to having snorted drugs earlier in the night. She was monitored by NUPD and was strongly advised to go to Health Services to talk about her drug use. She will be reported to OSCCR.

2:30 a.m.
NUPD responded to a call that a 21-year-old male student was intoxicated and had urinated on his roommate’s bed. The roommate was moved to another room for the night and the 21-year-old was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and will be reported to OSCCR.

7:30 a.m.
NUPD and Massachusetts State Police seized a 21-year-old student’s computer from his residence in West Village for inappropriate use of the internet. He will be reported to OSCCR.

5:30 p.m.
An NUPD officer encountered four people sitting on a bench across from Kerr Hall smoking marijuana. Two 18-year-old NU students and two 21-year-old Massachusetts College of Art students were questioned and identified by the officer. A pipe and two baggies of marijuana were confiscated. The Northeastern students will be reported to OSCCR.

11 p.m.
NUPD detectives went to speak with a 20-year-old male student regarding a previous incident involving drug use and replica hand guns. When the detectives entered the apartment in West Village B, there was visible evidence of drug use in the apartment. A marijuana grinder, pipe and rolling papers were confiscated and the student will be reported to OSCCR.

11:15 p.m.
An RA from Douglass Park called NUPD after she knocked on an apartment door to ask the residents to turn down their music and the residents refused to open the door. Officers responded and found a dozen empty beer cans in the apartment. The three 19-year-old residents will be reported to OSCCR for violating the alcohol policy and for not opening the door for an RA.

Saturday, Oct. 3
1:45 a.m.
NUPD was called to The Fenway where an 18-year-old female was incoherent and vomiting. A friend told officers that the girl had been drinking at an off-campus party. The female was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and will be reported to OSCCR.

5 a.m.
An RA from Stetson West called NUPD to assist with an intoxicated 19-year-old male who was wandering around the fourth floor without a shirt on. The student is a resident of Speare Hall and was escorted back to his residence hall. He will be reported to OSCCR.

9:30 p.m.
An RA from White Hall discovered offensive drawings on a door on the fourth floor. The residents said that it was a friend who drew the pictures and they were urged to tell the friend to stop.

11:30 p.m.
NUPD responded to a report of an 18-year-old female who stumbled outside of White Hall and then vomited inside the building. She admitted to drinking vodka, was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and will be reported to OSCCR.

Sunday, Oct. 4
2 a.m.
An RA from West Village A called NUPD to report an intoxicated female in the building’s lobby. The female had asked another student to help her walk up to her apartment, but did not actually live in the building. When officers arrived, the female had become combative and incoherent. By calling her recent contacts, officers found out that the female had been at a party on Tremont Street. and when she became intoxicated her friends put her in a cab and instructed the driver to take her to her apartment by Fenway Park. She told officers that she did not know how she got to West Village A. She will be reported to OSCCR.

12:30 p.m.

BPD called with reports of several people with guns chasing others around West Village. Officers found six students with a plastic toy shotgun and nerf guns playing a game they called "Humans versus Zombies.” The plastic shotgun was confiscated and the six students were counseled on the dangers of playing such a game in an urban setting.

Monday, Oct. 5
2 p.m.
A staff member reported that she had dropped her wallet while walking between Curry Student Center and the Forsyth Building.

5 p.m.
Several callers reported a disorderly man on Forsyth Street near Chicken Lou’s. NUPD officers responded and arrested 48-year-old James Saia, a local homeless man, for disorderly conduct and banned him from campus.
