Wednesday, Sept. 23
2 p.m.
A food service staff member from International Village called Northeastern Division of Public Safety (NUPD report two men with no affiliation with the university using the restroom outside the dining hall. When NUPD responded, the staff member pointed the two men out as they walked into the Ruggles T stop. When NUPD and Transit Police stopped the men for questioning, one man was uncooperative and swallowed several small bags of what appeared to be heroin. The man, 28-year-old Richard Lane,  of Boston, was arrested. Both men have been banned from campus.

Thursday Sept. 24
1:15 a.m.
A proctor at 407 Huntington Ave. called NUPD to report two men had entered the lobby, could not produce ID to get into the building and ran up the stairs. As officers responded, NUPD received a call from a resident of 407 Huntington Ave. reporting her apartment was being burglarized and that she and her roommates had locked themselves in a bedroom. Officers responded to the apartment and found an intoxicated man in the living room with his jeans around his ankles and without a shirt. The man, 23-year-old student Manuel Anaya, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering and resisting arrest. It was determined that Anaya was a resident of 407 Huntington Ave. and lived one floor directly the apartment in which he was arrested. Anaya has been banned from all residence halls and will be reported to the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (OSCCR). The second man who ran past the proctor was not involved in the breaking and entering.

2 p.m.
A student reported she left her watch on a table in the lobby of Shillman Hall. When she remembered and returned an hour later, it was gone.

2 p.m.
A graduate student reported he left his backpack unattended on the third floor of Snell Library at 10 a.m. while he went to his classes. When he returned at 2 p.m. the backpack was gone.

9 p.m.
A student called NUPD to report she had left her purse in the Library Quad at about 9:15 p.m. When she returned 10 minutes later the purse, which contained $20, credit cards and Red Sox tickets, was gone.


Friday, Sept. 25
12:15 a.m.
NUPD responded to a call from Light Hall reporting an 18-year-old student lying in a hallway covered in her own vomit. When officers arrived, the female was up and feeling better, but said she had been drinking. She will be reported to OSCCR.

Saturday, Sept. 26
1:45 a.m.
A student called to report that while standing on Hemenway Street with a group of friends, an unknown man walked through the group and brushed against them. The caller told the man that he should be more careful, and the man then punched him before running off.

2 a.m.
A student reported that about 45 minutes earlier, while walking on Hemenway Street near Symphony Rd., a man ran up, snatched her coat from under her arm and ran off. The student had her cell phone and $20 in the coat’s pocket.

NUPD responded to a call from Speare Hall where a 17-year-old female was vomiting in the fourth floor hallway. Her friends told officers that she had been drinking at a party on St. Stephen Street. She will be reported to OSCCR.

8 p.m.
An NUPD officer on patrol on Gainsborough Street saw a man transferring four bottles of liquor to two females on the sidewalk. The females, an 18-year-old student and a 19-year-old student, will be reported to OSCCR. The alcohol was confiscated and the man has been banned from campus and will be summoned to Roxbury District Court for procuring alcohol for minors.

Sunday, Sept. 27

12:30 p.m. A student called to report she had left her purse unattended on the fourth floor of Snell Library for 15 minutes and upon returning, she found it missing. The purse contained $200 and several credit cards. The purse was later found without the money by a library employee and was returned to the owner. While an officer was getting a statement from the student, the officer was approached by her friend who said that while the two were looking for the first purse, she had left her purse, containing $10 and an iPod, unattended and it too, was now missing.


12:45 a.m.
A Resident Assistant (RA) in Stetson West called NUPD upon finding an 18-year-old student vomiting. The student said she was drinking earlier in the night and was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center by ambulance. She will be reported to OSCCR.

1:15 a.m.
NUPD was called to the lobby of 780 Columbus Ave. where a 19-year-old student was passed out from severe intoxication. She was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center by ambulance and will be reported to OSCCR.

3 a.m.
An RA called NUPD upon finding an 18-year-old male student vomiting on the fourth floor. He was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center by ambulance and will be reported to OSCCR.

4 a.m.
NUPD was called to the third floor of Stetson East by an RA who found an intoxicated 18-year-old male student urinating in the hallway. The student will be reported to OSCCR.

8:30 a.m.
Boston Police Department (BPD) asked NUPD officers to go to 21 Symphony Rd. to take a statement from a student who had been assaulted the previous night. According to the 21-year-old male student, a fight broke out at a party at 21 Symphony Rd. at about 2 a.m. and during the fight he was knocked down and cut his head. He was taken to the hospital and received several staples to close his wound. NUPD is investigating the circumstances of the fight



4:30 p.m.
A student reported he left his laptop unattended on the third floor of Snell Library for 10 minutes and upon returning found it missing.

6:30 p.m.
A student reported his bicycle had been stolen from the steps outside Snell Library. He had locked the bike three hours earlier with a thin cable lock, which was also missing.

Monday, Sept. 28
3:15 p.m.
A student called to report the theft of an unattended laptop from the third floor of Snell Library.

10:30 p.m.
A student reported she had left her purse unattended on the fourth floor of Snell Library for two minutes and upon returning found the purse and the laptop inside had been stolen.

Really, If your looking for your friends lost purse, why the hell would you leave your own purse unattended? Apparently you dont learn from your friends dumb mistakes!

@No way, I think I speak for everyone when I say you are both ignorant as well as a nerd. First of all, the library is open to more than just Northeastern students. Second of all, if you did not imbibe alcoholic beverages before you were 21 (especially during college) you were most likely an overweight girl who had no friends. Love, CORPORATETHUGGIN.COM

I mean seriously! How many idiots attend NEU?! I am ashamed... That grad student was probably trying to reserve a seat in the Library by leaving his stuff there! I hope he/she learnt their lesson.

P.S. If you're not 21 then don't drink! It's only a matter of time before you do something stupid while drunk and get caught (hopefully alive!) which will then cost you you're education!

I bet that everyone that said they left their stuff for 10 minutes meant an hour or more just so they didn't look stupid. And the person who said two minutes probably realized the next day she left her stuff behind.
