NU named 100th most expensive school in US
Northeastern was ranked the 100th most expensive school in the country based on tuition, room and board costs, according to a study done by CampusGrotto, a website that posts studies, reports and resources about colleges. The ratings, which were published Sunday, were created from information on each college's website this month. CampusGrotto used an average price amongst universities for schools that didn't list room and board fees on their websites. Tufts University was ranked the most expensive school in the Boston area, taking the 29th spot, followed by Boston University in 44th place, and MIT in 68th. Northeastern was not on the CampusGrotto's Highest Tuition 2009-2010 list.
