The Student Government Association (SGA) and the Resident Student Association (RSA) recently passed legislation moving forward the university's first on-campus Greek life living learning community (LLC). The LLC would be located in Parcel 18. The next step is for Philomena Mantella, senior vice president for enrollment and student life, and members of the senior leadership team to give feedback and issue the approval or denial of the proposal, said Ryan Fox, SGA vice president for student services. Students may have spotted them around campus: a set of Adirondack chairs, painted in bright colors. They may find them occupied by their peers, who are taking a rest between classes or soaking in the early days of fall. The chairs were placed around campus at the start of the fall semester by the school's facilities department, said Charles Doughty, director of landscape operations and suburban facilities. A new website that tracks crime at universities has been deemed inaccurate by university officials. Ucrime.com uses Google map technology to map crimes in university areas, listing the alleged crimes' locations, dates, times and natures.
