Volleyball game to raise money for two charities

The Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Delta Zeta Sorority will host their 7th annual Spikes for Tykes charity volleyball tournament May 12. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Centennial Commons. Teams of five need to pay a registration fee $25. All proceeds from the event will be donated to two charities: the Horace Mann School for the Deaf, the oldest public day school for the deaf in the country, and Hannah and Friends, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and young people affected by autism and global delays. Last year, Spikes for Tykes raised $500. The event will also feature a barbecue and free Vitamin Water for all players. Members of the winning team will receive gift cards.
